Workshop on RF and Microwave Technologies
The “1st Workshop on RF and Microwave Technology” is an event organized by the Research Group on Radiofrequency at UFSC, the technical chapter IEEE IMS/CAS/COMMSOC and the IEEE Student Branch at UFSC. It aims at disseminating and discussing technologies, applications and challenges on the RF field. It is targeted for researchers, professionals and students in science and engineering.
The event will feature lectures by various experts, covering topics such as RF sensors, RFID, multiband RF circuits, integrated circuits in the range of millimeter waves, compact modeling of noise in active devices and characterization of MOSFET in high frequencies.
An exponent of the event will be a lecture by Professor Wuqiang Yang from Manchester University. He is IEEE/IET Fellow and IEEE-IMS Distinguished Lecturer. Dr. Yang will give a talk on Electrical Capacitance Tomography and Multiphase Flow Measurement.

- Roger Davanso: RFID: Technologies and Solutions (RFID: tecnologia e soluções)
- Dr. Robson Nunes de Lima: Multiband RF Circuits (Circuitos RF Multibanda)
